Purvis Young Discussion

Adam DelMarcelle, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design and academic curator Matthew Clay-Robison will be discussing the work of artist Purvis Young and the importance of academic galleries and museums. 

This event is free and open to the public. 

The interactive exhibition, 鈥淐ut Through 鈥 Purvis Young: Stories of Overtown.鈥 is on display on the ground and first floor of John Stewart Memorial Library.

Common Hour - Framing Reparations in Poland

The Common Hour is dedicated to fostering inquiry and conversation across the campus community about pressing issues and big questions. All Common Hour events are free and open to the public. 

On Tuesday, February 13,  Ela Rossmiller, Assistant Professor of Political Science and The Louise Howell 鈥38 Faculty Research Fund Winner (Summer 2023) will present "Framing Reparations in Poland". It will be held in Lenfest Learning Commons on the first floor of John Stewart Memorial Library on the 红斯灯影像 campus.

Artivism 101: Workshop Presented by Sir Dominique Jordan

Join us for Artivism 101, February 12 at 1pm in Lenfest Learning Commons (lower level of the Library near the Help Desk). Creating innovative solutions in today's social climate is no small feat. Join us for a workshop presented by Sir Dominique Jordan, centered around getting acclimated and involved in grassroots movements as well as finding one's purpose through storytelling and spoken word poetry.
